A dream came true at Dresden's Semperoper in May 2016 when opera stars Piotr Beczala and Anna Netrebko made their debut in Lohengrin, inspired to take on the lead roles by Christian Thielemann, principal conductor at the Dresden Staatskapelle and one of the leading Wagner conductor of our day. Contributing to the triumph are Evelyn Herlitzius's Ortrud, Tomasz Konieczny's Telramund, Georg Zeppenfeld's King Henry and Dresden State Opera Chorus.
