Sara Lowes is the creative passion behind Animalesque and is responsible for designing and handcrafting every piece. The bespoke collection of headdresses have been made exclusively for the Royal Opera House, recreating the magic and romance of classical ballets such as Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. A spectacular creation, the Adult Peacock is a dramatic headdress which pairs turquoise and glittering gold to stunning effect. The turquoise fabric is accented by gold print and gold stitching, topped with a proud golden crest. The final touches are added by the multifaceted beads which are stitched on individually by hand, making this headdress a real work of art.
