King & McGaw

Tombeaux Print

  • Take home a piece of your favourite production with our Print on Demand service, offering high quality reproductions in a range of sizes and stylish frames to suit any aesthetic delivered to your door.  Custom Prints are printed and framed by King & McGaw in Newhaven, East Sussex. The service allows you to own some of the beautiful artwork used to promote operas and ballets over the years, with poster designs from the Royal Opera House Collections dating from 1946 to the present.

The prints are produced using the giclée method, which refers to an inkjet printing process, using light fast water based pigment inks. All frames are hand-made and hand-finished by skilled craftsmen. Due to the nature of these vintage posters, these prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before the posters were archived by Royal Opera House.

This print is a reproduction of The Royal Ballet poster for the mixed bill consisting of Tombeaux (1993), The Firebird (1954), and In the middle, somewhat elevated (1992). Performed 11 February - 16 March 1993 at the Royal Opera House. Illustrated with a colour photograph of Viviana Durante in Tombeaux (1992). Photograph by Nick Knight. All reproduction prints come with a white border. Sizes can be found under the specification tab to the right of the description.

Please Note: Print on Demand orders are fulfilled by King and McGaw, all prints are made to order and cannot be returned.
