Elena Deshmukh is an artist and maker. Her experience as a textile designer, embroidery artist and printmaker has developed a personal style which combines her love of drawing, colour, texture and detail.
In collaboration with the Royal Opera House, Elena Deshmukh has created an exclusive collection of ceramics and stationery. Drawing inspiration from the rich archives and architecture of the Royal Opera House her designs celebrate the enchanting experience of a night at the theatre.
Elena's designs incorporate the stunning Main Stage facade, including the famous red velvet curtains, gilt frescos and Royal Opera House crest. On the reverse, you can find a few of opera and ballet's most-loved characters peeping through from behind the scenes. This bespoke design is inspired by the special feeling before the curtain rises for the evenings' performance. Made of fine bone china in the Potteries, Stoke on Trent.
