We celebrate International Dance Day on 29th April every year, and this year is no exception. This year marks the 42nd anniversary of the event, started in 1982 to commemorate the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre, a legendary French dancer and the man known as the ‘father’ of modern ballet.
Today, International Dance Day is about encouraging people of all ages and abilities to get involved in dance.
